We are paid on a percentage of each claim filed (equal to or lower than most in industry), so we only get paid on claims paid out.  So I work to make sure every claim gets paid accurately and timely.  This percentage is remarkably less than it would cost to pay someone hourly as well as any benefits the employee may have with your office.  Credentialing is handled at a flat rate to assist you in keeping costs down while gaining credentials with the insurance and hospitals you require.
